North Little Rock, AR - The Frisco RoughRiders won a pitcher's duel from the Arkansas Travelers, 3-1 on Saturday night. It marked the ninth consecutive defeat for the Travs. Arkansas struggled to take advantage of scoring opportunities as they went 1 of 10 with runners in scoring position and stranded 10 runners on base. Riders starter Tim Brennan was the winner working five innings with three relievers then combining for four scoreless frames. Travs starter Stephen Kolek took the loss despite allowing just two runs (one earned) over five innings.
Moments That Mattered
* Frisco broke a tie and took the lead in the fifth inning when Jordan Procyshen scored from second on a fielding error on a ground ball.
* Arkansas put their leadoff man on base in each of the final five innings including consecutive singles to begin the seventh. But Grant Wolfram struck out three in a row to end the threat.
