
Fresno FC Announces ESPN Deportes KGST 1600AM as Spanish Radio Broadcast Partner

FRESNO - Fresno Football Club announced a one-year radio broadcast partnership with ESPN Deportes KGST 1600 AM on Friday, partnering with the local radio station to broadcast the club's United Soccer League matches for the 2018 season. The deal covers all 17 home matches for Los Zorros during the club's inaugural season in the USL and select regional away games.
"We are thrilled about this partnership with the Fresno FC," said station general manager Kevin O'Rorke. "The addition of local professional soccer to our lineup of great futbol from all over the world is a natural extension of our brand and we can't wait to share the in stadium excitement with listeners all over the San Joaquin Valley. We will carry a full 20 home game schedule and select away games as well. Our Lotus team is beyond excited to be the home of Los Zorros on the radio."
ESPN Deportes is one of five Fresno-based stations operated by the Lotus Communications Corp., which is one of the largest privately-owned radio station groups in the United States. Lotus currently owns and operates a total of 34 radio stations in Arizona, California, and Nevada.
"We're excited to provide our fans with a Spanish radio broadcast on ESPN Deportes and Lotus Fresno. To be able to provide bilingual coverage of all Fresno FC matches shows our dedication to include fans across the Valley, who can listen to the action from anywhere," said Frank Yallop, general manager of Fresno FC.
