Frenzy offer Live Look
December 19, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Cape Cod Frenzy News Release
Have you ever dreamed of playing basketball at the professional level? Well now you can.......the Boston Frenzy of the American Basketball Association have created an innovative way to match your skills against some of the top players in the country. Its called "The Live Look", and it is a chance for any basketball player in the country to qualify for a try-out for the Boston Frenzy during an actual ABA regular season game. Most try-outs are typically held during the off season, against sub par players where 30-40 players are fighting for one or two spots. "The Live Look" allows you to test the waters whether you were a Division 1, 2, or 3 college player, high school star, or gym class hero. You may have never played at the college level but know that if you had the chance, you can show what you've got. The Frenzy have over 20 spots available for the remainder of this season for "the Live Look".
Here's how it works......
Complete the registration form and tell us a little about yourself and your basketball background. We will choose a set number of players for the next home game and offer them a "Live Look". If chosen you will play, not just sit on the bench, on the night of the designated home game. If you impress the coaches, we will impress you with an offer to finish the 2005/06 season with the Frenzy. Act now and fill out your form....the "Live Look" open spots will be considered on a first come - first serve basis and should fill up quickly. The program will only be available until we find the nation's top undiscovered players. While this may not be quite the same as the legendary 1970's basketball cult classic film "The Fish That Saved Pittsburg", we wont rest until we find our "Set-Shot Bufford", "Bullet Baines", or "Double Trouble Twins"

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
