
RazorSharks Head To Holidays In Winning Form

Rochester RazorSharks News Release
Å The Rochester RazorSharks professional basketball team split a pair of weekend games to improve their record to 8-3 in the American Basketball Association's Connie Hawkins Division. The RazorSharks will host the Buffalo Rapids on Wednesday, December 21 at The Blue Cross Arena at 7:05 p.m. The NE Penn Breakers, who were originally scheduled to play in Rochester, are currently receiving assistance from the ABA in reorganizing their ownership group.
Rochester beat the Strong Island Sound last Saturday at The Blue Cross Arena 103-92 behind James Reaves' (Edison/Niagara) 25 points and 12 rebounds. Sunday afternoon in Harlem the RazorSharks lost 119-116 in double overtime to the Strong Dogs as Chris Carrawell (Duke) dropped in 38 points for Rochester.
HOLIDAY GAME - The RazorSharks host the Buffalo Rapids Wednesday at The Blue Cross Arena, as the Rapids bring in three great guards - Tim Winn (St. Bonaventure), Modie Cox (U. of Buffalo) and Trevor Ruffin (Phil. 76ers). Buffalo defeated the Newark Express 89-88 Sunday to snap Newark's six-game winning streak. Halftime will feature a special wheelchair basketball exhibition by the Rochester Rockets. There will be a "Meet the Players" post-game party after the game at The Keg, located at 315 Gregory Street. The game will be re-broadcast in its entirety on a tape-delayed basis at 10:00 p.m. on WHTK AM-1280.
