Florence, KY - The Florence Freedom and 107.9 ClassX have announced the two have reached a broadcast agreement for the 2007 Florence Freedom baseball season.
The Florence Freedom and 107.9 were radio partners during the 2005 Florence Freedom season.
Bill Spry, General Manager of 107.9 ClassX commented, "We are very happy to once again partner with the Florence Freedom to make the games available on the air to the ClassX listeners. We are really excited about the Florence Freedom team and are looking forward to a winning season!"
ClassX will air all 96 Florence Freedom games, as well as pre-game and post-game shows. Fans can also listen online through the link at www.florencefreedom.com to be posted prior to the start of the season.
"We are very excited to team up with ClassX radio," mentioned Justin Kozubal, the Freedom's Director of Sales and Marketing, "it is great when two locally owned businesses that are community focused can form a mutually beneficial partnership."
Roger Redmon returns for his second season as the play-by-play announcer for the Florence Freedom.
The Florence Freedom open the 2007 season Wednesday, May 23 at Champion Window Field. Season tickets and ticket mini plans are on sale now.
Florence Freedom is a member of the Frontier League, a 12-team Independent Professional Baseball League established in 1993. The Freedom play a 96 game schedule with 50 home games between late May and early September.
