Orlando SeaWolves News Release
ORLANDO, FL - The Orlando SeaWolves have announced today the formation of a new Florida wide 6v6 indoor soccer league, in partnership with R9 Academy that is available to any team wanting to participate. The league, which will be called the Florida Sunshine League, will consist of two separate seasons, the first starting in December and the second starting in February.
The purpose of this league is to allow potential indoor players to showcase their talents on a bigger stage, allowing teams from all over the state to participate and play in professional venues. Games will be held at the SeaWolves home stadium, the Silver Spurs Arena, as well as their training facility at R9 Academy. The Orlando SeaWolves reserves team will also be participating in the league.
Early registration opens tomorrow, November 1st and will last until November 15th. Registration will be $700 per team from that time frame and will increase to $750 after the 15th.
Teams will be eligible for the championship prize, which is $1000 for each season. The second season champions will also receive a free month of field rentals at R9 Academy.
