Free Child ID at Sunday Beetles game

The Alexandria Beetles and New York Life are proud to present the first game of their Child ID program Sunday, June 24th at 5:05 pm at Knute Nelson Memorial Ballpark. Representatives from New York Life will be on hand to get kids signed up for free ID cards, New York life will be making identification cards with a photo, digital fingerprint and other important information about the child. The cards are designed to be carried by members of the family and be readily available in the event that the child may go missing.
New York life has been involved in many child safety events where they distribute child IDs and stress the importance of children practicing safe habits at home, at play or anywhere in the community they may be.
Sunday is also the second chance for area elementary students to redeem their tickets received from participating in Ringo's reading program. Ringo's reading program is sponsored by Bremer Bank & Sanford Health.
The Alexandria Beetles are in their 12th season in the Northwoods League. The Beetles are committed to putting a competitive team on the field, and providing an enjoyable experience for the fans in the stands. For ticket information please visit www.alexandriabeetles.com.
