
Frederick Keys Struggle in Loss to Williamsport on Monday

Frederick, MD- The Frederick Keys (15-17) were defeated by the Williamsport Crosscutters (19-14) on Monday night by a final score of 9-1 from Muncy Bank Ballpark in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
A Travis Holt RBI single to right in the 4th off starting right-hander Jonathan Pintaro (Shorter University) was the go-ahead hit, breaking a 1-1 tie. The Crosscutters would tack on three runs in the 5th and four runs in the 7th against the Keys bullpen for good measure.
Outfielder Dominic Freeberger (UNC Asheville) drove in the only run of the game for the Keys with an RBI single to right field in the 2nd. First baseman Alex Baeza (Utah) notched a hit in his first at-bat and scored a run in his Keys debut.
Frederick's next game will be tomorrow, Tuesday, July 12 at Williamsport at 6:35 pm from Muncy Bank Ballpark.
