
Frederick Keys Shut Out Against West Virginia on Saturday

Frederick, MD- The Frederick Keys (10-10) fell in the rubber match on Saturday night to the West Virginia Black Bears (9-11) by a final score of 10-0 at Monongalia County Ballpark.
Keys hitters managed only five hits the entire game and struck out 12 times against West Virginia pitching.
Right-hander Jonah Tong (Bill Crothers HS) struck out a team-high seven in 2.2 innings of relief. Left-hander Cobe Reeves (Coastal Bend College) pitched 3.0 innings of one-run ball with two strikeouts in relief as well.
Frederick still managed to come away with a winning record on the road trip, going 3-2 for the week.
The Keys will return home for a six-game homestand, beginning with a three-game series against State College on Tuesday. First pitch for Tuesday's game is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
