Cutters Starter Ethan Lindow retired the first nine batters he faced. Finished with five innings of work, allowing two runs (both earned) on four hits, striking out two in a no decision.
Julio Francisco connected on his first home run of the season, a game-tying, two-run home in the 6th inning to tie the game at 2-2.
Brayan Gonzalez delivered the go-ahead RBI single, plating Danny Mayer to give the Crosscutters a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the 7th inning.
The Crosscutters bullpen tossed four shutout innings to close out the Opening Night win over the State College Spikes
Randy Alcantara worked three shutout innings, allowing just two hits while striking out one batter. Luis Ramirez closed the door with a shutout inning of relief in the 9th, picking up a strikeout en route to his 1st save.
