Tim Drew pitched eight effective innings, and Scott Houin and Ben Bando each homered as the Aiken Foxhounds (24-26, 2-3) won their first series since June 23, defeating the visiting Bradenton Juice (28-22, 4-2) 8-3 in the series finale Saturday night at Roberto Hernandez Stadium. The 'Hounds had not won a series since winning two of three against Anderson from June 21-23.
Houin went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and four RBI, Josh Eachues went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, and Chad Miller went 2-for-5 for the Foxhounds.
Aiken returns to action Monday night at 7:05 PM when they host the South Georgia Peanuts at Hernandez Stadium.
