Fox Sports World & Fox Sports en Espanol Unveil National TV Schedule

NEW YORK (Wednesday, March 24, 2004) - A rematch of MLS Cup 2002 between the New England Revolution and the Los Angeles Galaxy will open the second season of live Major League Soccer coverage on Fox Sports World and Fox Sports en Español on Saturday, April 3 at 10:00 p.m. ET. The channels will telecast 28 live games throughout the 2004 campaign on Saturdays and also offer a selection of playoff games. All games will be simulcast in Spanish and televised nationally on Fox Sports en Español. Telecasts of the 2004 MLS season on Fox Sports World and Fox Sports en Español will feature all 10 MLS teams.

Also returning to Fox Sports World on Saturday nights is MLS Wrap hosted by Sean Wheelock and former D.C. United captain John Harkes. The hour-long highlight show will air every Saturday at 12 midnight ET and will recap all the weekend League action, providing highlights, analysis and reaction with exclusive interviews featuring League players and coaches.

SPECIAL MLS PREVIEW SHOW TO AIR ON MARCH 27

Exactly one week before the kick-off of the 2004 MLS regular season, Fox Sports World will air a special MLS Preview Show on Saturday, March 27 at 6:00 p.m. ET, which will set the stage ahead of the League's ninth season. Hosted by veteran anchors Max Bretos and Allen Hopkins, the program will feature an exclusive interview with Freddy Adu, the youngest player in modern American professional team sports history, as he embarks on his rookie season with D.C. United.

Fox Sports World correspondent Christian Miles also sat down with 2003 MLS Cup MVP Landon Donovan to discuss the San Jose Earthquakes forward's expectations for 2004. The show will also feature interviews with Alexi Lalas, a former U.S. National Team member and seven-year MLS veteran, who is now President and General Manager for the Defending Champion Earthquakes, and San Jose's new Head Coach Dominic Kinnear.
