
Fourth Anthem Assists Award Presented to Nicole Wesling from Horizon House

INDIANAPOLIS -ÃÂ Nicole Wesling, street outreach supervisorÃÂ with Horizon House, Inc., was named the latest Anthem Assists Award winner, the Indiana Fever announced earlier today at surprise event at Horizon House.
As an 11-year staff member at Horizon House, Wesling advocates for individuals experiencing homelessness in the Indianapolis community. In recent months, she has spearheaded efforts to provide shelter and mental health resources for Hoosiers deemed high-risk for contracting the COVID-19 virus.
"Nicole's decade-long efforts ofÃÂ improving the lives of so many in needÃÂ in Marion County displayÃÂ her unyielding commitment to our community. Our city is continuing to combat homelessness and Nicole is a prime example of how we can all make a positive impact,"ÃÂ Fever President Dr. Allison Barber said.
In addition to coordinating the Professional Blended Street Outreach Team, Wesling has worked in conjunction with the IMPD Flex Team, INDOT and the Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention.
