Four Louisiana Players Suspended

PRINCETON, N.J. - The East Coast Hockey League announced on Wednesday that Louisiana's Bruce Richardson, Shawn Skiehar and Jeff Worlton have been suspended and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of their actions in ECHL Game # 170 vs. Greenville on November 10.

The Louisiana organization was also fined an undisclosed amount.

Richardson, Skiehar and Worlton were involved in an off-ice altercation with Greenville players. Richardson, Skiehar and Worlton were each assessed major penalties for fighting and game misconducts under Rule 56(c).

In an unrelated incident, Louisiana right wing Nathan Rempel was assessed a gross misconduct and has been suspended one game.

Rempel will miss Louisiana's game at Jackson (Nov. 13). Richardson will miss Louisiana's game at Jackson (Nov. 13). Skiehar will miss Louisiana's games at Pensacola (Nov. 15), at Mississippi (Nov. 19) and vs. Baton Rouge (Nov. 22). Worlton will miss Louisiana's game at Jackson (Nov. 13) and at Pensacola (Nov. 15).
