Four Goal First Sends Jacks to 7-2 Win

(Odessa, TX) - Kory Karlander, Jean Bourbeau, Dominic Leveille, and Collin Circelli all scored in a four goal first period for the Odessa Jackalopes as they beat the Corpus Christi IceRays, 7-2, on Tuesday night at the Ector County Coliseum.

Sebastien Thinel added a second period goal for Odessa along with the Rays' Chris Richards. In the third Karlander and Leveille each scored again for the Jackalopes to make it 7-1, before Corpus Christi's Matt Smyth added a power play goal for the 7-2 final.

Dominic Leveille finished the game with a four point night while Bourbeau, Moyer and Karlander all had multi-point games as well. Jeremy Symington finished with 32 saves in the win, and was named the first star of the game.

The Jacks and Corpus will drop the puck once again on Friday night at 7:05 PM at the Ector County Coliseum. The game can be heard on 97 Gold.
