INDIANAPOLIS - In the first half of the 2022 season, the Indianapolis Indians welcomed four new hires to the front office in the business operations, community outreach, field operations and ticket sales departments.
Nick Farfan, a 2021 graduate from State Technical College of Missouri who earned his degree in commercial turf and grounds management, joined the Indians as field operations manager ahead of the second homestand of the season in late April. Farfan was also part of the St. Louis Cardinals' grounds crew for the 2020 and '21 seasons and was a groundskeeper on the University of Missouri campus.
Alyssa Moore joined the Indians as a ticket sales account executive after graduating from Trine University in May 2022 with a business administration degree as a sport management major and marketing/management minor. While in college, the Pendleton, Ind. native completed a capstone project for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants and a three-month internship with Living Sport that culminated with Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles. Moore's work in sports also includes an internship at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and as a game day employee for the Indianapolis Colts.
