Forward Willy Agada Undergoes Successful Surgery

Sporting Kansas City forward Willy Agada underwent successful surgery today to repair a stress fracture in his left tibia, the club has announced.
The surgery was performed by orthopedic surgeon Dr. Kirk McCullough at the Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute. Agada is expected to be sidelined for 12 weeks.
Since joining Sporting Kansas City last June, Agada has recorded nine goals and two assists in 21 appearances across all competitions. He was the club's golden boot winner in 2022 with eight goals in only 10 starts and opened his 2023 scoring account against Seattle Sounders FC on March 25 at Children's Mercy Park.
