Forward Madison FC News Release
Forward Madison defeated New England Revolution II 2-1 in Saturday's season finale at Hart Park. Noah Fuson scored his first professional goal to equalize late on before Jiro Barriga Toyama struck from distance to get the win.
New England's Justin Rennicks gave the visitors the lead by beating the offside trap before scoring in the 30th minute.
For the Flamingos, Paulo Junior rang the bar on two different occasions in the first half but was unable to find the back of the net.
With the game all but done and dusted, though, Forward Madison found a way back. Noah Fuson scored his first professional goal in the 81st minute thanks to an assist from Louis Bennett.
The winning goal came just three minutes later courtesy of Jiro Barriga Toyama, who scored from long range to put the Flamingos in the lead for good.
Forward Madison finishes the season in 7th place following Saturday's success.
