
Forward Chase Yanni Commits to 67's

OTTAWA - The Ottawa 67's have received a commitment from 2023 third-round draft pick forward Chase Yanni, the team announced today.
"Chase is a cerebral player, who shows a knack for finding the net," said 67's General Manager James Boyd. "He displays an ability to find open ice, and has an accurate, quick-release shot that he uses effectively."
Yanni, 16, was selected in the third round, 62nd overall, by Ottawa in the 2023 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection. The Alliston, Ontario native skated in 36 games for the Toronto Jr. Canadiens (GTHL), scoring 22 goals and 16 assists, for 38 points.
At the 2023 OHL Cup tournament, Yanni tallied two goals and six assists, totalling eight points in seven games, as he helped his team to a championship victory.
