SETTING THE STAGE: Tonight's game at the FWCC will be the start of a busy four games in five nights stretch for the Brahmas...Fort Worth will also play at home tomorrow, Sunday and next Tuesday...This will be the first of two meetings this season between the Brahmas and the Rayz...The clubs split two meetings last season, with each team winning on home ice...Fort Worth is 17-22-7 all time against Corpus Christi, including a 11-10-3 mark at the FWCC.

FORT WORTH NOTES: Fort Worth has not played since a 6-2 loss on home ice to the Lubbock Cotton Kings last Saturday, Nov. 6...The Brahmas are currently in third place in the Northeast Division with 8 points, but they have three games in hand on all three teams that are ahead of them in the standings...Fort Worth center Bryan Lundbohm has recorded at least one assist in each of the Brahmas last four games, the third longest current assist streak in the CHL...Lundbohm's recent surge has propelled him into a tie for second on the Brahmas in scoring with 8 points (3G/5A)...Center Martin Paquet has registered at least one point in five of the Brahmas six games this season...Fort Worth leads all CHL teams with four shorthanded goals at home this season.

CORPUS CHRISTI NOTES: The Rayz will swim into town tonight on the heels of an impressive 5-1 win last night at home over the Austin Ice Bats...D-man Mark Jackson was the catalyst in the win for Corpus, scoring two goals and playing at a +2...Corpus currently leads the Southeast Division with 8 points and a 3-2-2 record...Rayz coach Ken McRae (formerly of Indianapolis) brought six Ice players with him to Corpus-goaltender Brent Zeleniwich, defenseman Chad McIver and Bernie John, and forwards Ryan Carter, Jason Baird and Dave Gilmore...Center Greg Bullock is leading the Rayz offense this season with 6 goals and 8 assists...Bullock's 14 points are tied for the second most in the CHL...Rayz d-man Bernie John leads all CHL blueliners in assists with 9.
