Fort Myers entered the bottomo of the fourth inning in a 1-1 tie, but tagged Taillon (3-6) for four consecutive hits, including three doubles. After Josmil Pinto cracked a line drive off the base of the wall in left field, Oswaldo Arcia yanked a double down the first base line to plate a run.
Lance Ray followed by lacing a 2-0 pitch into center field bringing Arcia home to put Fort Myers up by a pair of runs. After Anderson Hidalgo took second on a ground rule double moving Ray to third, Michael Gonzales delivered a sacrifice fly for another run scored.
The next hitter, Andy Leer, hit a grounder that popped off the first base bag for a single. With runners at first and third, Angel Morales lifted a big fly over the right field fence for a three-run homer to push Fort Myers' lead to 7-1. The long ball was Morales' first since April 14.
