
Former Yankees PR Director To Throw Out First Pitch

The Hudson Valley Renegades today announce that Marty Appel will be throwing out the first pitch for the Hudson Valley Renegades against the Staten Island Yankees, July 5th at 7:11PM.
Appel, the former New York Yankees public relations director and Emmy-award winning television producer, is widely known as a baseball historian and Editor of the Baseball Hall of Fame's quarterly magazine.
Appel is a frequent guest commentator on TV show 'Yankeeography', and an author of 16 books including "Now Pitching for the Yankees" and Thurman Munson's autobiography.
Appel will be available to sign autographs and speak with fans about his experience working for the New York Yankees. His books will also be on sale during the first three innings of the game.
