
Former Virginia Tech Post Player Allocated to Dazzle

GREENVILLE, S.C., October 5 â Former Virginia Tech post player Terry Taylor has been allocated to the Roanoke Dazzle of the NBA's National Basketball Development League. NBDL director of basketball operations Chris Alpert announced today that Taylor was the first of two players that will be allocated to the Dazzle.
At 6-8, 292-pounds, Taylor averaged 15.5 points and 7.3 rebounds in his final season at Virginia Tech. He recorded eight double-doubles and shot .529 from the floor (162-306). He was twice voted MVP at Allegany (Md.) College before transferring to Virginia Tech. Taylor, 23, is a Chesapeake, Va. native.
Each NBDL team will be allocated two players. A maximum of 17 players will report to team training camps, which open Nov. 7 in the six league cities. A minimum of one allocation player is guaranteed a spot on each team's final roster of 10 players.
