
Former UCF Knight Seyvon Lowry Signs with Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE - The 2019 National Arena League champion Jacksonville Sharks announced today the signing of Defensive Lineman Seyvon Lowry for the 2020 season. This will be his second year of arena football and first with the Sharks.
Seyvon Lowry (6'3, 275) spent his first season of arena football with the Nebraska Danger of the Indoor Football League (IFL) in 2019. As a rookie Lowry played in six games for Nebraska and racked up 31 tackles, two fumble recoveries, and 4.5 sacks.
Lowry attended the University of Central Florida from 2013 - 2016 where he was a defensive lineman for the Knights. He accumulated 46 total tackles and three interceptions during his career at UCF.
Lowry is a native of Jacksonville, FL, where he attended First Coast High School. As a Buccaneer he was a defensive end who racked up 98 tackles, 33 sacks, five forced fumbles two blocked punts, and five touchdowns during his career at First Coast. Prior to graduating he was a four-star recruit by ESPN, won Second Team All-State Honors, First Team All-Conference Honors, with NCAA interest from Alabama, Miami, Cincinnati, Connecticut, Louisville, Michigan State, Vanderbilt, West Virginia, and South Florida before accepting a scholarship to Central Florida.
