Former Stampede assistant hired by Milwaukee Bucks

(Boise, ID August 16, 2005)-Former Idaho Stampede Assistant Coach Jason Staudt has been hired by NBA's Milwaukee Bucks as Video Coordinator. Staudt joined the Idaho Stampede in October of 2004 as assistant to Head Coach Joe Wolf. He served under Wolf for the 2004-05 CBA season and helped the Stampede compile a 23-25 overall record, including 17-7 at home.

Staudt, obviously pleased with the announcement said, "I'm very excited to be on board with the Bucks, and grateful for the experience I gained during my time with the Stampede."

Coach Wolf said of the announcement, "Jason is a young man who knows exactly what he wants and how to accomplish it. All of his skills and personality make him a great find for the Milwaukee Bucks organization."

Prior to joining the Stampede, Staudt held the position of Video Coordinator with the Orlando Magic, where he spent three seasons. He was also a Student Assistant and Head Manager for Texas Tech University. His duties included assisting in individual and team practices, recruiting and video editing. During the 1995-96 season, Staudt and the Red Raiders compiled a 30-2 season (Best Record in School History), made an NCAA Sweet 16 Tournament Appearance and was named 1996 Southwest Conference Regular Season Champions.

The Idaho Stampede will begin its eighth season-of-play in November at the Bank of America Centre in downtown Boise.
