Spokane Shock News Release
Former Shock WR/LB Kevin Beard has signed a contract with the defending Arena Bowl Champion Chicago Rush.
Beard was a duel threat in the Shock's offense, scoring 13 total touchdowns during the regular season: ten receiving and three on the ground. His 828 all purpose yards, an average of 69 yards/game, placed him third on the team.
Beard's best game of the season came in the ArenaCup 7 where he led the team in receiving yards (122) and scored two touchdowns that helped secure the Championship for the Shock.
"Kevin gave us everything he had last season," said General Manager Adam Nebeker. "He will be greatly missed, but we're happy he's getting the opportunity to further his goals by moving up to the next level."
