Huntsville, AL- Former Lumberjack player Eppie Guerrero was named the new batting coach for the Huntsville Stars of the Southern League the Milwaukee Brewers announced today.
Guerrero, who was originally signed as a non-drafted free agent by the Toronto Blue Jays, spent many years in the Milwaukee organization as a player. He joined the Adirondack Lumberjacks midway through the 2001 season after completing the Mexican League season.
