Erie, Pennsylvania, Monday, February 3 - The Erie BayHawks will welcome former Harlem Globetrotter Seth Franco to the Erie Insurance Arena for a halftime performance on March 1 with the help of WCTL. The performance will be the highlight of the BayHawks "Celebrate Your Faith" Night presented by WCTL, Camp Judson and Hofmann's Religious Goods.
After suffering a crippling leg injury in college, Franco faced the possibility he may never walk again. Through hard work and perseverance, Franco went on to become a Harlem Globetrotter in 2003, becoming the first Caucasian Globetrotter since 1942. He has since traveled the world to share his basketball handling talents and faith-based testimony of his amazing story. Over the course of his career, he has appeared on multiple television networks and has worked with Universal Studios, the NBA and the U.S. Department of Education.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling the Erie Insurance Arena box office at 814-452-4857. The BayHawks return home this Wednesday for their annual School Kids Jam game against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants at 11:00 am.
