
Former Coug joins the Shock

The Spokane Shock announced that Quarterback Brett Dietz has signed a practice squad contract with the AFL's Kansas City Brigade today. The Shock also announced that DB Alex Teems, a former Washington State Cougar, has been assigned to the team by the arenafootball2 League Office.
As a two-year starter, Teems, 5'11" 190, played in 21 games compiled 100 tackles, 5 interceptions (his senior season he led the team) and had seven pass break-ups.
"As a former Cougar, Alex's collegiate career has him well prepared for a successful professional career," Head Coach Adam Shackleford said. "I'm looking for him to help solidify our secondary with some of our other DB's."
The Shock will open their season on March 31st as they host the Stockton Lightning on Northern Quest Casino Field at 5 PM. Season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling 242 7462.
