Spiderman returns

Tulsa Talons News Release

Donovan Morgan has officially been assigned to the Tulsa Talons of the arenafootball2 (af2) league. Morgan, a.k.a "Spiderman" (6'2, 201lbs) comes to the Talons after spending time in the AFL and NFL. Morgan was waived at the end of the 2006 Houston Texans training camp and spent the last of 06 on the practice squad of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Morgan, the once af2 "Rookie of the Year", played for the Talons in 2005 with 1,687 yards receiving and 57 touchdowns. He joined the Talons in 05 after practicing with the Las Vegas Gladiators and playing for the NFL-Europe in 04.

"He's a very skilled veteran of the game and we are excited to have him back," said General Manager, Co-Owner Henry Primeaux.

Morgan played college ball at the University of Louisiana- Lafayette and transferred to Pearl River (Miss.) Community College. Morgan caught 51 passes for 957 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2002 and was named All-American.
