Manchester Wolves News Release
The Manchester Wolves, New Hampshire's professional arenafootball2 team, would like all football fans to know that the name of their "Official Practice Facility", located on 68 Technology Drive in Bedford, has changed names from Bedford's Rising Stars Sports Complex to the NH Sportsplex.
"The new name best reflects the new management's strategic outlook and planning for a year round sports and training center," said Michael Benton, the new owner of NH Sportsplex. "I'm excited to be able to supply a place where both young and adult athletes in the region can train in an array of multi-sports."
Benton is a Bedford resident and owner of the Executive Health and Sports Center and Express Fitness. Benton has teamed up with the original founder of Bedford Rising Stars; Paul Parisi, to form a new ownership partnership that will be focusing on expanding its current programs and will introduce a state of the art sports performance center, summer camps and sport specific training in the coming months.
As well as being the "Official Practice Facility" for the Manchester Wolves since 2004 the NH Sportsplex currently runs soccer, field hockey, lacrosse, baseball, softball and football programs along with renting field space for athletes of all ages and abilities.
"On behalf of NH Sportsplex we are delighted to continue our partnership as the official practice facility of the Manchester Wolves," said Joe Domingos, who oversees the day-to-day business operations of NH Sportsplex and implementation and creation of new ideas and programs.
