
Former Central Standout Assigned To Twisters

(North Little Rock, AR) - The Arkansas Twisters have been assigned former Little Rock Central standout Dedrick Poole by the arenafootball2 League Office. Poole will compete for a roster spot during training camp as a receiver/kick returner.
Poole last played football in camp with the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers this past fall. He worked as an assistant coach with Arkansas Baptist College after his time with Tampa Bay.
The former All-State running back spent three years with the University of Arkansas before transferring to the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. He spent one year with the Golden Lions, earning All-SWAC honors and SWAC newcomer of the year.
Poole won two state championships at Little Rock Central High where he was one of the top running backs in the state.
The Twisters season opener is April 5th at Oklahoma City and the home opener the following Friday on April 11th against arch rival and defending af2 champion Tulsa Talons. Fans can purchase season tickets by calling 975-KICK or logging onto www.arkansastwisters.com.
