
Former Blizzard BJ Hill Selected to IFL Hall of Fame

Green Bay, WI (June 4, 2015) - The Indoor Football League (IFL) announced today that former Blizzard player, BJ Hill, was selected to the IFL Hall of Fame Class of 2015.
Hill is one of the most decorated players in IFL history. He spent his entire four-year IFL career with the Green Bay Blizzard and was named to five All-IFL teams. During the 2012 season, Hill became the first player to earn two spots on the All-League team in the same year (defense and special teams). He finished his career holding three IFL return records; career kick return yards (3,412), kick return TD's (13), and season kickoff return average (23.2 during the 2012 season).
"I am truly humbled to be inducted into the IFL Hall of Fame," said Hill. "I was honored just to be considered with all the other great finalists. Thank you all very much."
Hill is joined by one-time Blizzard running back LaRon Council. Council played for Green Bay in 2012. In his only season in Green Bay, Council set multiple single season IFL rushing records, including; attempts (256), yards (1.040), and touchdowns (32).
Former Sioux Falls Storm quarterback Chris Dixon rounds out this trio as the newest members of the IFL Hall of Fame. The three-member IFL Hall of Fame Class of 2015 will be present during festivities at the United Bowl weekend (July 10-11). They will be honored at the leagues banquet, as well as during ceremonies of the United Bowl.
