Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers® announced that they have agreed to terms with defensemen Jason Krischuk for the 2009-10 season.
Krischuk, an Anchorage, Alaska native, returns to the Wranglers after spending the 2008-09 season split between the Corpus Christi IceRays of the CHL and Asploven HC in Sweden. From 2006 to 2008 Krischuk tallied 56 points in 129 regular season games for Las Vegas. In 2006-07, the 29-year-old defenseman appeared in the All-Star game for the National Conference, and in 2007-08, led the Wranglers with a + / - rating of +29. Prior to turning pro, Krischuk spent one year at Colorado College before spending three years at the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
The Las Vegas Wranglers® are the ECHL affiliate to the National Hockey League's Phoenix Coyotes and the American Hockey League's San Antonio Rampage.
The Wranglers open the 2009-10 season at home on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 7:05 PM against Utah. 2009-10 season seat packages are on sale now at (702) 471-PUCK. The Wranglers play all 36 regular season home games at the Orleans Arena, located adjacent to the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue.
