Forge FC Releases 2022 CPL Club Schedule Presented by Westjet

The Canadian Premier League announced Thursday the 2022 regular season schedule presented by WestJet. The 2022 CPL season has all 8 Clubs playing a 112-match season with 28 matches per Club in a single table format.

Forge FC's first match of the 2022 CPL season will be Sunday, April 10 at Pacific FC at 7 p.m. ET. Forge will host Cavalry FC on Saturday, April 16 at 4 p.m. ET at Tim Hortons Field in the club's CPL home opener. However, Forge FC's first game at Tim Hortons Field is scheduled for Wednesday, February 16 at 8 p.m. in the first leg of its 2022 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League Round of 16 matchup against Cruz Azul.

Season start: April 7

Season end: October 9

Playoffs: October 15 and October 22

2022 CPL Final: October 29

Format

- Each club will play 28 regular season games - 14 home and 14 away matches

- The CPL schedule will consist primarily of weekend matches (Fri-Sun) with only 16 mid-week matches in 2022.

All matches will be broadcast exclusively via the CPL's media partner, OneSoccer, and will be broadcast on OneSoccer.ca, Telus ch. 980 and FuboTV.
