
Forge FC Announce the Transfer of Manjrekar James to Costa Rican Club L.D. Alajuelense

Forge FC announced Saturday, that Defender Manjrekar James has been sold to Costa Rican club L.D. Alajuelense for an undisclosed fee. James becomes the third player to be sold by Forge FC.
"Manjrekar displayed his dedication to our club this season embracing our culture and playing a large role in helping the club obtain our fourth Canadian Premier League Title," said Forge FC Sporting Director & Head Coach, Bobby Smyrniotis "We wish him all the best as he moves on in his career"
James, 30, spent the 2023 season with the club playing an influential role in the teams backline being nominated for the CPL's Defender of the Year and being named to the CPL Best XI 2023 Fuelled by Gatorade. The Canadian International defender finished second among all CPL players with 184 recoveries and 1764 total passes, while providing two assists on the season. The 59 aerial duels he won ranked third within the league, and he ranked fourth in the league, and first among defenders, in duels won with 175.
