
Forge FC Add Canadian Goalkeeper Monsalve

Forge FC announced Monday the club has signed Canadian goalkeeper David Monsalve.
Monsalve, 31, spent the last two seasons with the the Ottawa Fury in United Soccer League (USL). The veteran goalkeeper has seen a lengthy career in professional soccer beginning with Toronto FC in Major League Soccer in 2007, also spending time in Finland with FC Inter Turku (2009-11, 2016-17), in the NASL with FC Edmonton (2011-12), with AC Oulu in Finland (2013-14), América de Cali in Columbia (2015), C.D. Suchitepéquez in Guatemala (2016), Husqvarna FF (2017), and with Ottawa.
The 6-2, native of North York, Ontario made one senior international appearance with Canada in 2010, while also appearing on numerous occasions with the youth national teams from U17 to U23 age groups, including representing Canada at the FIFA U20 World Cup in 2007 held in Canada.
