New Jersey Titans News Release
The North American Hockey League announced its Bauer Hockey Divisional Stars of the Week for week ending January 10 and Titans forward Jack Ford was named the East Division's Star of the Week.
Ford, despite only playing in one game this weekend, had four points (2 goals and 2 assists) in Saturday's 9 - 2 win over the Maryland Black Bears.
"We couldn't be prouder of Jack on his efforts" stated Titans head coach Craig Doremus. "Jack hasn't been in the lineup much recently but responded to getting his opportunity. He has continued to work hard and improve. He wanted to make an impression and he did. He sparked our team in a much-needed game for our club. He went to the net and played hard and he was able to contribute a great deal to our offensive attack on Saturday evening. We are looking forward to Jack continuing his strong play next Friday night against Johnstown," concluded Doremus.
The Hockessin, DE native has seven points (2 goals and 5 assists) in seven games played this season. He is the eight different Titan to receive Star of the Week recognition.
