October 4, 2011 - Arena Football League (AFL)
Georgia Force News Release
Duluth, GA (October 4, 2011) - With one experienced quarterback already in tow, the Force added a bit more veteran pocket presence by signing former Milwaukee Mustangs quarterback R.J. Archer.
While with the Mustangs this past summer in his AFL debut, Archer completed 221 of his 373 passing attempts for 2,353 yards and 27 touchdowns. He also rushed 18 times for 35 yards with five touchdowns. Archer, 24, played college football at The College of William & Mary, and spent time with the NFL's Minnesota Vikings in 2010.
He joins Darnell Kennedy, who started three games to close 2011, on the Force roster. Kennedy re-signed with the Force during the restricted signing period.
