
Force Returns to TV, Renews Rivalry

Cleveland Force News Release
The Cleveland Force will return to television this weekend, as the first two of six games will be televised on WUAB TV-43 The Block.
Catch Al Pawlowski and Otto Orf as they call all the action from Milwaukee on Saturday and Dallas on Sunday. Game time is scheduled for 2:05 p.m. and 7:05 p.m. respectively.
RENEWED RIVARLY:
The Cleveland Force will be renewing a rivalry this weekend when the team takes on the Dallas Sidekicks. It will mark the first time the Force has played Dallas in 14 years but the first time in 10 years that a team from Cleveland has played the Sidekicks.
The last time Cleveland was in Dallas was in the 1991-92 season when the Crunch lost to the Sidekicks 11-5 on February 29th. The last meeting between the two franchises was on March 22nd as Cleveland won the game 7-6.
Cleveland teams are 27-18 all-time versus Dallas teams. The Force posted a record of 18-6 versus the Sidekicks while the Crunch were 9-12 versus Dallas. Cleveland is 12-12 playing in Dallas and the last time Cleveland won in Dallas was on March 17, 1991 when the Crunch won 7-6.
WINTER CAMPS:
The Cleveland Force will be holding its second of two Winter Camps at Cleveland Metroplex located at 18909 South Miles Parkway in Warrensville Heights.
The second camp will be the Holiday Camp, which is a two-day camp on Thursday, December 26th and Friday, December 27th from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon each day.
The camp is open to kids ages five to 14 and the cost of the camp is 95 dollars. Each camper who attends the camp will receive a free ticket to a Force game.
FORCE PLAYERS CONTINUE STREAKS:
Cleveland forward Hector Marinaro scoring streak remained at 51 straight games and 83 of the last 84 games as he did not play last Saturday. He has also tallied a point in 190 of the last 193 games.
Force defender Kiley Couch also continued his consecutive game streak as he has now appeared in 56 straight MISL games. Couch was just one of two players to appear in every game last season.
Directions to the Force Fitness Indoor Soccer Facility in Warrensville Heights:
The facility is located across from Thistledown Race Track on Northfield Road.
From the West: Take Route 480 East to Northfield Road Exit and take a left on Northfield. The soccer center will be a mile and half down on your right-hand side.
From the East: Take 480 West to the Miles Road Exit and take a right onto Miles. Proceed to Northfield Road and take a right; the practice center will be a mile down on the right.
