
Force Returns To Action After All-Star Break

CLEVELAND, OHIO -- The Cleveland Force will return to action after the All-Star break, as the team will play back-to-back games on Saturday, March 6 and Sunday, March 7. On Saturday, the Force will travel to St. Charles, Missouri to face the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Central Division St. Louis Steamers at the Family Arena and is slated to begin at 2:05 p.m. Cleveland will then travel to Monterrey, Mexico to take on the MISL Western Division Monterrey Fury for the final time this season at the Monterrey Arena. Sunday's contest is scheduled to begin at 7:35 p.m.

The Force comes into the weekend action with a record of 8-18 overall, 3-5
versus Central Division opponents, 5-4 versus Western Conference opponents
and 3-9 on the road. Cleveland last fell to the Baltimore Blast by a final
score of 9-7 on February 22 at the Convocation Center at Cleveland State
University. The Force currently is in third place in the Eastern Division
eight games behind the Philadelphia KiXX for second and 11 games behind the
Baltimore Blast for first. St. Louis enters the weekend on a three game winning streak and with a
record of 10-15 overall, 4-5 versus Eastern Division opponents and 6-8 at
the Family Arena. The Steamers defeated the KiXX by a final score of 8-3 at
the Family Arena on February 21 before hosting the 2004 MISL All-Star Game.
St. Louis is currently in third place in the Central Division a half game
behind the Kansas City Comets for second and 8.5 games behind the Milwaukee
Wave for first. Monterrey comes into the weekend with a record of 7-17 overall, 4-5 versus
Eastern Conference opponents and 2-6 at the Monterrey Arena. The Fury last
played on February 14 when they fell to the Comes by a final score of 3-2.
Monterrey currently is in third place in the Western Division 3.0 games
behind the San Diego Sockers for second and 6.5 games behind the Dallas
Sidekicks for first.
