Force Ready For 2003 Portion of Schedule

CLEVELAND, OHIO- The Cleveland Force will start the 2003 portion of the schedule after posting a record of 8-7 during the 2002 half of the season. The Force will play just its third back-to-back games of the season when they face the Dallas Sidekicks and the Baltimore Blast on Friday, January 3rd and January 4th respectively.

The game with the Sidekicks will mark the second meeting of the season between the two franchises, with Dallas taking the first game 13-4. It will be the third meeting between Cleveland and Baltimore as the two teams each winning at home.

Cleveland will enter the game against Dallas after losing to Kansas City last Saturday 17-6. The Force is currently 5.0 games out of first place, trailing only the Philadelphia KiXX. Cleveland's overall record is 8-7 and 5-3 against the Western Conference and 3-4 against its Eastern Conference foes.

Dallas stands 6.5 games behind Western Conference leader Milwaukee at 6-12 overall and 1-8 in the division. Baltimore currently has a record of 5-12 overall and is 9.0 games out of first place in the MISL Eastern Conference.

The Force will return to the friendly confines of the Convocation Center at Cleveland State University on Friday, January 10th against the Harrisburg Heat with game time slated for 7:35 p.m.
