Force Goalkeeper Joins All-Star Team

CLEVELAND, OHIO - Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Commissioner Steve Ryan today announced that Force goalkeeper Jim Larkin would be added to the MISL International team. Jim will replace injured Dallas Sidekicks goalkeeper Sagu on the MISL International team, as he was the next highest vote getter

Larkin will make his third All-Star Game appearance and his second as a member of the Force. Jim made his first trip as a member of the Wichita Wings in 2001 and has represented Cleveland the last two seasons. In his previous two All-Star Games, Larkin has recorded 22 saves; including an All-Star best 13 saves a year ago.

This season, Jim has appeared in 17 games and has recorded 195 saves. Larkin tallied a season and career-high 28 saves in a 7-3 victory over the San Diego Sockers on February 8. In addition, Jim has been selected as the MISL Goalkeeper of the Week on two occasions as well as the Tops Sensational Player of the Game on three occasions.
