
Force Defender Joins Canadian National Team

CLEVELAND, OHIO - Cleveland Force defender Nevio Pizzolitto has been called up and will join the Canadian National Team for a friendly World Cup game versus Barbados on Sunday, January 18. Pizzolitto played in three games this summer for the Canadian National Team.
Nevio will miss the next Force game versus the Kansas City Comets on Saturday, January 17 at Kemper Arena but will return to the squad for the Friday, January 23 game versus the Milwaukee Wave at the Convocation Center at Cleveland State University.
Pizzolitto, a 27-year old native of Montreal, has appeared in all 15 games thus far this season. Nevio has recorded three goals and added three assists for a total of six points. In addition, he is second on the team in blocks with 20.
