FLOWERY BRANCH, GA - The Georgia Force announced the signing of WR/DB Jacques Rumph to the Practice Squad today. Rumph will add depth to the position as the Force look to make the playoffs for the second straight season.
Jacques Rumph is a three-year AFL veteran, spending time with New Orleans and Kansas City. Rumph played in six games with the Kansas City Brigade this year and recorded 21 receptions for 214 yards on offense, in addition to posting 13 tackles and a fumble recovery on defense. Rumph also tallied 11 kickoff returns for 135 yards with the Brigade. In two and a half seasons, Rumph has registered 104 receptions for 1,069 and 17 touchdowns, while collecting 39 tackles, one sack, two passes defensed and one fumble recovery.
The Force will host the Dallas Desperados (10-2) on Sunday, April 22, at 4:00 p.m., in Philips Arena. For ticket information, call the Force ticket office at (404)-223-8000.
