Damian Harrell tied career highs with 14 catches and five touchdowns, covered 196 yards and also recovered a last-gasp on-side kick to help the Crush fend off the Kansas City Brigade on Sunday afternoon, 55-49.
Harrell's heroics - which also included extending his AFL record to 61 straight games with a receiving touchdown - were more than enough to earn him Beckett.com AFL Collectible Player of the Week honors for Week 12.
Through 12 games, Harrell leads the league in receptions (115), receiving yards (1,479) and touchdowns (43), and is on pace to establish single-season AFL records in all three categories.
Harrell, last year's Offensive Player of the Year, is well on his way to a repeat performance for the American Conference-leading Crush. He currently represents 60.5 percent of quarterback John Dutton's touchdown passes, 45.2 percent of his passing yards and 39.5 percent of his completions.
