FLOWERY BRANCH, GA - The Georgia Force have announced the signing of LB Antoinne Scott from the club's open tryout on October 14.

Scott, 6-2, 265 pounds, brings the Force two years of AFL experience with the Arizona Rattlers. In 2004, Scott played for Force head coach Doug Plank with the Rattlers, where Plank was the defensive coordinator. Under Plank's tutelage, he collared 11.5 tackles, one sack, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in his rookie campaign. The following season, Scott tallied four tackles.

Scott is the fifth player from an open tryout to be signed by the Force since Arthur Blank purchased the team in 2005.

"We are very pleased with the addition of Antoinne Scott to our football team," Head Coach Doug Plank stated. "He was a productive player when he was in Arizona and I look forward to him being on the field for us this season. We have experienced tremendous success from our open tryouts, in regards to the quality of talent and athleticism the athletes in Atlanta have shown us. I believe this is the most athletically gifted city in Arena Football."
