LOS ANGELES - Even though it is the off-season, Avenger players, coaches and "A-Team" dancers regularly visit schools, hospitals and community events.

This week, "A-Team" dancers Angela, Lindsey, Shelby and Lynisha took part in several community events over the weekend with celebrities Jim Belushi, Jon Voight, and Orlando Jones to name a few. The "A-Team" dancers took the opportunity to sign autographs and interact with fans at the community events.

"It's great to come out and support these events for kids," Angela said. "These community are a lot of fun for kids and their families."

On Saturday, October 21, "A-Team" dancers Angela and Lindsey started the day taken part in the Little Legs with Big Hearts ¼ mile run/walk for children between the ages of 1 and 8 years old to raise money for children afflicted with the sickle cell disease was held at UCLA's Drake Stadium. The "A-Team" dancers awarded each child that crossed the finish line with a medal.

Later in the day, "A-Team" dancer Angela took part in the 10th Annual KTLA Kids Day L.A. at Exposition Park Intergenerational Community Center. The festival mixed fun attractions for children with practical advice and resources for parents and other caregivers. More than 10,000 kids and adults attended the event.

On Sunday, October 22, "A-Team" dancers Lynisha and Shelby took part in the Camp Ronald McDonald For Good Times 14th Annual Halloween Carnival at Universal Studios back lot. The event was to raise funds for children with cancer and their families.
