Green Bay Gamblers News Release

Green Bay (November 21, 2008) - The Green Bay Gamblers have announced rookie forward Sean Little of Fond du Lac has committed to the University of Wisconsin of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA). Little will attend UW in the fall of 2010.

Little, 17, (04/15/91) was selected by the Gamblers in the 2008 USHL Entry Draft after playing last season at the midget AAA level with the Madison Capitals. In his first USHL campaign, Little has appeared in six games registering 27 penalty minutes. He has missed the last three weeks with a hand injury.

By committing to Wisconsin, Little makes it a family affair as his brother, Ryan, is a freshman defenseman for the Badgers. Ryan also played three seasons with the Gamblers serving as the team captain during the 2007-08 season.

Little becomes the 8th Gamblers player from the 2008-09 squad to commit to a NCAA Division I institution. Others include forwards Jefferson Dahl (Wisconsin), Jacob Johnstone (Michigan Tech), CJ Lee (R.P.I.), Anthony Schooley (Michigan Tech), defensemen Taylor Johnson (St. Cloud State), Robert Shea (Bowling Green) and goaltender Reid Ellingson (Northern Michigan).
