Stampede Announce Fan Balloting for "All-Decade Team"

Sioux Falls, SD- In celebration of the Sioux Falls Stampede's 10th Anniversary season, the hockey club announced today that fans will be able to pick the team's "All-Decade Team." Thanks to South Dakota Furniture Mart and the Argus Leader, fans can log onto www.sfstampede.com (powered by gage e-services) and vote for the top 20 players in franchise history. Each player has been nominated by the Stampede organization.

On the "All-Decade Team" ballot there are 30 forwards, 15 defensemen and six goalies to choose from. Voters will be allowed to select 12 forwards, six defensemen and two goalies. After voting, fans can register to win several prizes from South Dakota Furniture Mart and the Stampede, including Two (2) Round-Trip Airline Tickets anywhere in the continental U.S. as a grand prize, compliments of South Dakota Furniture Mart!

Other prizes include:

An autographed Stampede Replica Jersey and Signed Stick (1 Winner)

A $50 Stampede Merchandise Certificate (2 Winners)

Four (4) Stampede "Playoff" Season Tickets (1 Winner)

Fans wishing to register for the prizes must completely fill out the registration form. Fans are only allowed to vote and register once per day. Voting runs now through January 31st, 2009. Prize winners will be notified via email or phone.

The Stampede will announce the "All-Decade Team" in early February.
